Scoliosis types

Scoliosis can be categorised into different types based on the location of the scoliosis curve in the spine. This give us the following 4 types:
Dividing scoliosis based on it cause then there are the following types:
- Congenital Scoliosis
- Neuromuscular Scoliosis
- Idiopathic Scoliosis, that is further subdivided into three groups, based on the age of diagnosis
- Degenerative Scoliosis also called Adult Scoliosis
The vast majority of all scoliosis cases are made up of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.
