I whole heartedly agree!!
I get so frustrated when I hear parents say that there is no alternative to surgery because the surgeon said so! I wish they could understand that the number that the docs have come up with for surgery (40-45) degrees is random and based on NOTHING. I wish they could understand that the surgery itself won't fix the bump their child has at the rib cage!
I wish that it was stressed that they may be straighter but their may be a much lower quality of life after
