    Hi Andi,

Your understanding seems to be correct, but I really can't comment without at least seeing some x-rays of the patient. Also, the SAS is not intended to be a stand alone treatment, it should be used with the ScoliSMART auto response training program and the neurotransmitter re-balancing as well.

    Dr Stitzel,

I hope my understanding of the activity suit mechanics is correct. In my daughter's case of reverse-S curve seen from behind, where her right shoulder and hips are higher, and she has upper-right thoracic curve and lower-left lumbar curve (which is most problematic), I imagine the activity suit picture on the left patient above is the correct configuration for my daughter.

I can imagine how the right-leg attachment/ movement can pull in her lower-left lumbar curve, and correspondingly pull in upper-right thoracic curve and pull down right shoulder.

    Sincerely,
    Andi Setianto

    Hi Kim

Best for you would be to visit a clinic that deals with exercise based scoliosis treatment.
This would allow them to exam your daughter and then figure out what approach/exercises would be most appropriate for her.

P.s. personally did not like the "shorts" model and was happier with the pelvis belt.

I'm an xSpincor patient. Dr. Sid's comments are well said. Also properly fitted patients are instructed to go through a breaking in period. Something like 2 hours the first day, increasing that time daily, or every few days until maximum prescribed time is achieved WITH COMFORT. It cannot be emphasized enough that (1) the brace must be properly fitted by an experienced hand and (2) The under garmet made by Spinecor must be used (or one very very similar to it). I've been away for at least a year and know this post is stale dated - but maybe someone else may benefit from the information. Best of luck.

And this is entirely based off your "vast" knowledge of scoliosis causes and treatment off of one case (your son none-the-less) and his supposed cobb angle reductions (cobb angle is notoriously inaccurate)?

"A legacy of failure" has been received, because the wrong route has been taken in the 400 plus years that Idiopathic Scoliosis has been treated as an illness. The fact that an injury causes Idiopathic Scoliosis and no one has been able to discover that Hidden Tension is pulling the spine crocked, ALL of “Usernames findings are listed at: WWW.SCOLIOSISPREVENTION.US Please read it ALL. It is very much needed information, for anyone that has had Scoliosis enter his or her life.

Idiopathic Scoliosis is caused by an injury. The fact that Scoliosis has occurred is proof of the trauma. Please read “Usernames” entire description of his findings at: WWW.SCOLIOSISPREVENTION.US A simple stretch was all it took, to relieve the Hidden Tension. The reason for the poor results in removal of the angle present, it is being caused by immense tension.

Treatment did change, for “Username’s” son. Treatment has not changed, because no one questions the “Methods Used”. Doctors are not questioned they are just blindly followed. “MaggiVictoria” complained about information not given, that was all available on the Internet. The reason “Username” questioned the “Methods Used” ALL need to try the “Tension Test” identify and remove the tension. "Usernames web address keeps getting removed: SPAM If “Username” is so wrong, why not leave it. So everyone can try it him or herself, and see it is wrong. Which is more proof “Username” is right. Again, the information can only be made available; no one can be given the intelligence to use it. I did read the entire site, it has a lot of very usable information. The "Tension" was found in my child we are now stretching the tight tendon.

I cannot believe the simple stretch, that can be done at home. Was all it took, just months from spinal fusion surgery. To get such a wonderful, much better outlook for my son

I was able to give my son back a very enjoyable lifetime, just from doing a simple stretch. After a year of doctors treatment where he went from only a curve in his back to standing horribly crocked and to walking so crocked he drug one leg. To now, he walks normally and is able to run with perfect form. Not something he was able to do, before I relieved his tension. And you are saying he is an unusual individual, which yes you are right. He is unusual, in the fact that his father did not let him to continue being treated like the norm. I recognized and removed his cause. How can you state that Matthew is not like the norm, thankfully you have never been his doctor. But you somehow know he is different from the patients you see. Yes he has a father that questions the norm, as we all should. Again, my name should not be of any importance. I guess you need something to discredit me with.

You really cannot be simple enough to believe that, obviously you think the people you are Bloging to are. How about EVERYONE WITH SCOLIOSIS read my site, perform the test and stretch I used to treat my son with their doctor. They can then ask the doctor, why they do not have the full range of motion in both legs. I know you will say they do, but I know better in treating my son. Why should Matthew have the same symptoms, and not have the same cause. It is so stupidly simple. To be treated so horribly incorrectly for so long, is a real travesty

I have not had the time to get back, to Blog on this site. I have been working on my Web Site: REMOVED. I am not a doctor and I am not trying to give any medical advise. I have posted my entire description. Of how I removed ALL of the tension, causing my son’s infliction of Idiopathic Scoliosis. I have proved a tight tendon causes Scoliosis. It is a hidden tension. Anyone with Scoliosis can try the test I propose, to identify the tension in the presence of their doctor. Ask the doctor why the leg cannot be elevated. And then the stretch I describe that I used to remove the tension causing my son’s infliction of Idiopathic Scoliosis, if the doctor will allow it. How can doctors not understand to cause a back to get that distorted it has to be tension. The tension needs to be recognized and removed, before an angle has formed. Again, I am not a doctor. I am just describing my opinion, and the WONDERFUL RESULTS I was able to attain. In removing the cause of my son's Idiopathic Scoliosis. When the angle increases to 40 degrees, Spinal Fusion surgery is normally performed to stop the progression of the angle. I have been able to reduce the intensity of my son's angle, by 20%. Just from doing one stretch. He now has no problems. Not like after a year of doctor prescribed treatment, where his angle increased. I have been able to reduce his angle by 20%, just from performing one stretch.

This is what protects the STATUS QUO! and the STATUS QUO MUST GO! There is a better way, there are successful non-surgical approaches, but let's make no mistake, SCOLIOSIS STATUS QUO treatment is BIG Business, from the heads of the foundations, and research groups, to the hospitals! Based on what I know about failed surgeries, SILENCE should be a RIOT! Thank YOU for having the courage to speak in a community that is flawed with ignorance, censorship, paranoia, fear, and false loyalty to the Status Quo!

These illogical at home scoliosis scams are what continually sabotage and discredit non surgical approaches that ARE REAL, THAT ARE SUCCESSFUL and can SAVE LIVES! We as a community must be quick to oust these posers and spread the word of their scams! I will no longer refer to non-surgical treatment at CLEAR as Alternative treatment because that to me, it devalues, it worth, and does not put it on a level playing field with surgical approaches for the valuable and superior treatment that it is. Going forward, I will refer to CLEAR as non-surgical treatment for SCOLIOSIS!

What has "worked" for Matt in the comment from "Username" is a specific response to a specific situation and should not be considered for anyone else other than Matt.

Seriously. This is non-sense and borderline spam. It is clear that this individual (whom doesn't even post under his real name) is attempting to sell and illogical at-home scoliosis treatment product that is not rooted in even the most basic understanding of the condition. A word of advice....Do not send this guy any money for anything.

I hope your son Matt continues to do well.
